you can tell this book was written in 2013 because summers can say "sexism" without adding in 1400 disclaimers about the spectrum of genders.

Chap 4 outlined Progress vs Success- Basically having a few more women in positions of power is not a sign of success. Success is when having women in power is situation normal.
Chap 5- The PMs Rights At Work- Puts forward a persuasive legal case as to how the sexual harassment of PM Gillard was a clear case under the legislation.

Chaps 2 & 3, Pretty much the history of Equality Policy & Practice (or lack of) up to the present day with details of how it's been quantitatively assessed. It's pretty scary that what she is saying is mirroring my own history & circumstances as a parent and working woman. Recently I've become aware that what has influenced what I thought was purely my own choices has been steered by institutional inequality.

Only read Chapter One- Thoughts are, this was written in 2013, we had a female PM, a female Governor General, a female deputy leader in the Opposition and a female leader of The Greens. Since then we've had a mass exodus of female leaders in Parliament. The current Government won't invoke laws to reduce the MF.
We need women/men in Politics, who are willing to make the changes needed?
Hope the author has ideas
