I really wish that authors who don't speak French would not try to write it.

Having just spent about a year reading HG Wells' entire collection, I am acutely aware of how little this author understands the societal mores of the period, particularly between men and women. The language is also distracting modern. The psychological profiles are thin and immature. I may not bother finishing this. I sincerely hope I have not paid actual money for it.

Great historical fiction that helps you comprehend what our ancestors endured during WWI. My grandfather had a leg injury and received a Purple Heart from this war. Gave me new insight. Recommend reading!
