I don’t like this book. I love fast paced books but they literally only known each other for a week. He’s a stupid, sexist man. She is so naive. Sometimes there is a backbone but that disappears the next page. I can give Sophie the benefit of the doubt with what she went trough. And don’t get me started on jack and Maia I don’t know how I gave their book 4 stars. May have to re read it.

She is messed up sexually, but thank goodness, he has the magic manhood that can fix all her ills. She certainly doesn't seem to have any sexual hang-ups with him, despite her background.

So I haven't progressed much further - not enough to see if the H redeems himself, but the icky scene is still bugging me. It seems unnecessary - we already know the H is a man-ho; he has three different women that he schedules to come to his house on different nights - sometimes alone, sometimes they bring additional women - to have sex with him. (This is all voluntary, not paid sex.). This is gross enough.

Ick. I don't find it sexy or appealing to have the heroine watch the hero have sex with another woman. And get turned on by watching. And vice versa. Man-ho heroes bug me. If he doesn't change his ways PDQ, this will become a DNF. And for that him to be the most she's been turned on in 13 years?? Ugh. It's almost the virgin and the man-ho trope.

WTF Derek? He knows Sophie had a very traumatic sexual experience in her past that causes her to freeze up or panic. Why then is this jerk practically forcing himself on her and telling her he wants to fuck her after only a day of knowing her? Back off douche. You just had your dick in some hooch the night before.

WTF? What kind of of best friend spills all of her friends private business to a man she's known only 24hrs? Especially something as personal and traumatic as what Sophie went through? I loved the first book in the series but I'm super close to DNF this one. Fuck I hate reading about a weak heroine

Damn it. I don't want to read about the hero having sex with other women! I don't care if the H/h aren't together yet. Why demand Sophie to stay with him if he's going to be banging another woman while she's there? Totally killed the story for me

Holy hell I'd like an order of drunken Derek sex..make that two to go please.
