Not sure I've read anything like this before, set in distant future where indigenous people are Humans, the colonising others (Pakeha or otherwise) are Aliens and they possess different capacities, lacks.
Daniel is mixed race, but trying to help Humans by infiltrating the organisation that is the system that governs them.
