Had to return this to the library but reading the introduction was horrifying enough.

"As I argued in the last chapter, women do not having good information..." I really think Morris needed an editor.

The author just mentioned the 2011 testing scandal in DC, in which she says there were "an unusual number of wrong answers." The issue was a high number of ERASURES: wrong answers changed to right ones. Morris explains this - and maybe I'm nitpicking - but I'm having a hard time with a research-based book being inexact in its word choices and phrasing.

So far I think it's decent but am hoping that her editor caught the significant numbers of typos in the ARC before sending it to print. In particular, Morris mentions that the ideal dilation rate is "one cm per minute" and if that doesn't happen, it often warrants a c/s. The rate is one cm per HOUR. Mistakes like that make me wonder how carefully this was written, which reflects poorly on the author.
