I really don't know what I was expecting this book to be but Baby's First Homophobic Incident wasn't it

I mean ama and aba are just actual real world parental titles this character could call her parents is the thing they're just not English

This is a pretty quick easy read. It’s also entertaining and informative. I got one am enjoying the shift in settings. Seeing how Ambers life was on Kurra vs Earth is rather interesting.

So far , I’m seeing amber though a whole viewpoint. In this book, it’s fully on her and how she grew up living different lives. Which she is handling surprisingly well. Her family and her world are so interesting. Very foreword thinking at the time. I’m glad I decided to read this .

I really don't care for Amber, but my perfectionist/completionist brain won't let me skip this in case there's relevant info about the aliens.

At the very least it's a short read for until the audiobook I'm waiting for comes off hold, which should be soon.
