This book is such a tender treatment of love as a philosophical concept. The assertion that love is a “construction of life” in which the perspective of One becomes the perspective of Two is exactly what I have been trying to get at in my own work. I will always praise Badiou for his passion. It keeps me reading and his work always changes the way I think.
