Status Updates From Arthas: Zrod krále lichů

I find it surprising how so far there has never been an explanation about Ner'Zhul. There should have been an interlude or something about him and the lich king and why all of this exists in the first place.

I just finished reading Arthas's invasion of Quel'Thalas. I really liked reading that part. Arthas still feels a hint of regret which I find surprising throughout.

I liked the end of Part II as Arthas begins his path to evil.

I don't understand the change in Arthas though. He goes from wanting revenge and getting it by slaying Mal'Ganis to slaying his father and "creating a new order". I guess it's because he's cursed after taking Frostmourne? But something about the way it's written isn't very good. We know now that he is cursed but his change just feels... underwhelming?
