Cole, I will miss you.

This is my dilemma: when you don't wanna finish the series because you love these characters so much and in the same time you wanna read it because you love these characters so much.

This is hitting a little too close to home for me.

*sigh* I bought a male/male romance. Yet I'm reading one of the main characters father and the other MCs mother! Ugh!!! SMH....

Jon's dad, you the real MVP, lol...

Idk what I haven't written anything about it b4 .. But it kinda irritated me at the beginning with Cole insisting they adopt even thu it was nerve wracking when they could just use a surrogate ! Then there was the whole thing with Jon's father and Cole's mom! She is a bitch and her actions and reasoning are inexcusable!

...such a beautifully written tale ...

I can't believe Cole wants a baby but also know that he will, a wonderful father. Now if only they can get a baby soon. Jon's father takes it upon himself to make a call too Cole's mother, he wants the whole family together. It seems as though Cole's mother just don't want anything to do with him, but a little help from George maybe he can get them both too see that family is family and to put away the past.

The story of Elizabeth is so sad :'( Poor George!

Um...so Grace is a bitch!

My dad smiled. He put his hand on Cole's shoulder. "Listen to me, son." That word, in and of itself, spoke volumes. [...]
"You're going to be a wonderful father. And I'm not saying that to make you feel better. I mean it."
Cole smiled at him hesitantly. "Even though I'm a fruitcake?"
My dad laughed. "Are you kidding? Because you're a fruitcake."

The minute I walked through the door, a flying potholder smacked me square in the face. "How could you?" he asked as he threw another one at me. "How could you do this to me?" Another potholder, and then a dishtowel.

I wanted to draw the rage and the helplessness from him, and he was just as anxious to replace it with whatever he could draw from me–strength, or patience. Love, or comfort. Maybe something else entirely. It didn't matter. All that mattered was that I'd broken through his walls and been allowed in.

It's too terrible to talk about. All I can say is, I've never hated myself more than I do right now.

The bread pudding waited on the countertop. He already had bowls out. A pan of warm whiskey sauce sat on the stove.

There were toasted candied almonds and gingerbread and stollen and hot mulled wine brandy that warmed us from the inside out.
