Status Updates From Wonder (Wonder, #1)

August recently started 5th grade at Beacher prep located in New York City.This sorry takes place around october 2012. Its Halloween day, and August dresses up as bloody scream. No body knows its him because he's wearing a mask and he was supposed to go as boba Fett. He walks into class and overhears Jack Will talking about him. He was saying that if he looked like August he would kill himself. He wants to go home.

SETTING: August was going to this school named,"Beecher Prep." He is entering fifth grade. He does not know anybody there. He also has never been to a school so he does not know anybody. It says,"He's about to enter fifth grade at Beecher prep."

The genre of my book is realistic fiction. I think it is realistic fiction because the story could happen in real life. For example the main character has a physical deformity and is often teased and it is hard to make friends.

Via shares how she feels: she adores her brother, but she also wants attention. Meanwhile, August is adjusting to school; he has a friend named Summer, and they sit together at lunchtime, chatting and spending time with each other. Via no longer sits with Miranda they just say hello and nothing more though Miranda sometimes sends regards to her brother.
