Status Updates From An Empty Land of Plenty

I can already tell this is one of those books that I will put on hold for something else. Two authors have books I`m excited for coming out this month, so it`s not looking good for this one.

Oh male writers, why do you always feel the need to be crude? I can't believe i just read a line about how girls would be "creaming their jeans" at the sight of a cute boy. Also...females do not call each other, in normal convo, "girlfriend." Unless you are a super nerd trying to sound "hip."

Wrote....awkward Rusty moment there...i would gag/freak out if he had said that to me...think stalker creepy boy.

Really liking this book so far. I like the surprisingly optimistic view that society can reclaim the technology and science that is temporarily lost. This is rarely seen in apocalyptic books and i,personally, agree that it could be redeemed but may take awhile...like in the TV show Revolutions....sorta.
