I’m throwing in the towel at 40%. Realized that Reuben’s baby wouldn’t be born by the end of this story. So the whole book is just preparing for a party and the party as the climax. This is sooo dull!!!

Wow. It’s getting worse… brother priest just admitted to beating a woman so badly that she had a bloody miscarriage. And of course baby brother the man wolf that eats men that hurt women just stands there and tells him that he’s sorry for what the abuser brother went through. Sigh. What the hell is going on?

Gross. So we have a religious wolf man that eats people but is afraid of a ghost he’s in love with and his mom is going to raise his human baby because his ex girlfriend wants to marry someone else and doesn’t want to raise it?? This is such a departure from A.R.’s earlier books.
