Kale responds to a terror attack in his country and meets Delaney who works for DIA, she is former soldier and also expert in AI and computers. He realizes she is the text girl! They hit it off hard right from the start and it turns out they are both after the Panther, a criminal that is responsible for both the attack in Kale's country and the kidnapping and torture of Delaney in the past.

Kale Mueez (son of Ahmed from previous books) is computer geek, soldier and good guy. He gets a wrong number on his phone and starts texting a funny girl who thinks he ghosted her. When they realize it is wrong number they continue to text once in awhile as they like how the other one sounds.
