Starting to settle into the tone. Still don’t really care for the story or characters yet.

I’m bored Elyse. Also, the plot of Orpheus and Eurydice seems to have no relevance here. Maybe it will soon? I’m a third of the way through and nothing is really happening. There is no sense of direction, just “girl power” and “I want to change the word with my poems.” A lottttt of telling, not much showing.

The language is beautiful but the tone is coming across slightly preachy.
