Violet diamond is a biracial girl who is still trying to figure out life for herself. With her dad dying when she was 4 months old she lives with her mother and sister who are both white and sometimes it's difficult for her because of the look of confusion people give when she is out. She started to wonder about what she called her "black side" and wanted to meet them to learn more about her culture.
