Noooo not a transphobic rant in the middle of the dyke comic!!! This is not what I wanted!!!
In the few interviews I found where Summers touched on the topic, she defends it as an exploration of her own personal gender identity as opposed to a commentary on trans men and trans identity however that is… not what’s in the memoir so… Anyways. I’m still going to finish and appreciate the history I guess.
