I found this book rather dull. The first thing that bothered me was no one in the book was telling the story. Been a super long time since I was in school but I think it’s called ‘third person’ since there is an unknown narrator. The premise was to take a few items and make up a story about it. Could be anything, song lyrics, haiku, short story, however they want to show it. It got boring real quick.

The Fruit Bowl Project is just a collection of literary assignments of eighth grade students. This collection is at the end of the book. Everything between the end of the beginning of this book and the start of the collection is irrelevant and tiresome.

Pretty interesting. I have never read anything like this before, but I find myself pleased.

So far it's cute and unique. Something I should have thought of writing, obviously...
