June group read for SA Reads

I'm at the point where she is describing the influence on religion with people. I can see that she was hinting at her observation of religion early on in the book. This is hard to read because of her violent life experiences and the flow of the book could be better. I feel like there is a lot of describing when her experience is already telling in itself.

I have been sad, angry and I have laughed, but I did not expect this on page 239. I have 7 pages left to go and will not read them for a few days. This book should not be ending Urghhh!

Wow! Wow! How South Africa needed a book like this. That dares to say the things we think but few bold enough to say them .. Simply wow!
