Matt 11:28-30
“If you can’t relax in golf, it’s because you don’t trust your process. If you can’t relax in life, you don’t trust Gods plan for you”
The job for pros is the long practice before or after rounds. Tournaments are a time to show off.
If you focus the entire time it is counter productive. Relax and enjoy the round.

Glorify- the goal to glorify god
Segment- breaking up each shot and each day as a new opportunity to go through the process
Accept- accept the result no matter what
Commitment- both shot and in walk with god
Reset brain after bad shot. Can feel emotions but only for 20 secs. Go through your routine before blaming mechanics.

Consistently is key to draw comfort in middle of pressure (preshot routine). Just like having consistent habits of seeking God leads to good habits to fall back on under pressure.

Refocus.
Don’t carry previous shots and feelings. Refocus and think. Evaluate before you hit. Be present. Romans 12:1-2. Philippians 4:4;6-9
Refocus on god all day. If left to ourselves, we will naturally focus on ourselves. So refocus on him like you do on the golf course.
