Status Updates From Generación Z

Finished technically yesterday. A very enjoyable read. A unique dual POV.

Apparently I AM in the mood for a zombie novel! I'm loving this and kicking myself for not reading it sooner!

I wasn't sure I was in the mood for a zombie book, but I'm trying to beat my backlist. So far I'm enjoying the story!

"I'm embarrassed at my own stupidity sometimes." And yet, you don't even try to be less stupid.

"She's probably wondering how a couple of flirty idiots like us have managed to survive this long." Well, I mean. I'm also wondering that. I'm glad the author acknowledges her characters are all idiots, though.

"It took me a while, too long, to wake up and realize being some stereotypical helpless girl wasn't going to cut it anymore." Cool. Except that stereotypical helpless girl is all you've been so far.

SERIOUSLY? The only people you have in this world are gone from where they always were. You've been separated from your friends - and one of them was about to be murdered by an evil group of people. AND YOU'RE STOPPING TO GIVE THE CUTE GUY A HAIRCUT!?!?!?

So far, two POVs. Both girls. Both pathetic who can only function with a guy's help and keep blushing and trying not to smile. In the middle. Of. The. Fucking. Apocalypse. Ugh, I can tell already I'll regret reading this.

see above statement AND what did i tell you about liking characters? bad things my friend, bad things.

worst plan ever guys... i mean, worse than the medical center! worse than splitting up! worse than stupid Marybeth! and yet, here we go anyway...

funny, in End Dayz, i really liked Alex but here he just annoys me... i much prefer Zack, because all apocalypse girls need a boy bff.

that's it, i've decided never to like characters in zombie novels ever again because bad things always happen to the ones i like. boo.

okay, i like Savannah lol. and Zack. not Alex so much.
