Page 176 is when I went from, “Eh, I’m not sure how to feel about this book”, to, “Okay, here we go! Now I’m really liking this!” It feels like the author decided to stop fucking around and get down to business. Also, all the descriptions of clothes? Done INFINITELY better than Evelyn Hugo. Screw you, TJR, you’ll never be as good as Oscar Hijuelos.
