It is some years since I listened to the activities of DI Bill Slider. I have heard #1 to #15 and enjoyed every one, but for some reason I stopped listening to them.
Delightful, often witty, dialogue makes for good listening, but doesn't enter the "cozy" mystery realm.
And most enjoyable it was!

Just what I for my slump breakout!

A bit wordy and plodding st times but I’m enjoying the characters and the witty tongue in cheek humor. I know this isn’t the first book in this series, but it’s the earliest one my library had so I started here. It would have been nice to start at the beginning I think, to really follow the character development.
