Status Updates From Thief of the Ancients (Twil...

I'm having a really hard time getting into this book. Within the first 40 pages, the main character broke into a secret underground ruin, got into a fight, did some fancy flips and jumps, stole a key, set the whole ruin on fire, and escaped by being thrown out perfectly by a freaking elevator. Way too much has happened, she is unbelievable (literally), and I've gotten no background. I may end up quitting this book.

getting better but written like watching a movie, hard to keep concentrating

slow going, in having "fun" with fantasy, there's something missing... not sure what. Depth of character? A point?
