It's like CSI where when you reach a certain timestamp, the true killer always gets revealed and, while uninspiring, it is still nice in that nostalgic sense. I wish more of the novel was about the mystery rather than the relationships etc. Esp since most were unlikeable.
I do really like that the killer was my 1st guess but the writer made sure to provide that 'alibi' early so a reader would likely rule him out.
