Status Updates From Klauwhand

Emma and her cats were instantly surrounded by ratters as they neared their home. Just as the ratters were about to defeat Emma, she herself turned into a ratter with the mysterious abilities of the pride heart. The ratters, who are curious about her abilities, decide to take her to the ratter king.

Emma and the cats finally find the tunnels that lead to the caves of the ratters. The caves are connected to the sewer system from the old downtown.

Emma and her group of cats finally make their way to the school. When they get there, they meet a new crag, a harpy. The harpy's name is Chloe, and seems to like Emma. Emma and Chloe seem like they will interact later in the story. I finished off with the group breaking into the schoolhouse through a window.

Emma begins the journey to the cave of the ratters with her group of cats, made up of Jack, Fat-Leon, and Toe Chewer. She runs for a half hour but never gets tired, and along the way they find the Crag school.

Emma is introduced to all of the cats in the pride, including two characters that might serve some importance, Fat Leon, and Toe Eater. After this, Emma and her family celebrate her sister Helena's birthday, without Helena. Jack and Emma decide to sneak out and meet the ratters at night.

Emma realizes the cats in her pride don't have any magic because she doesn't know how to use it yet.

There are a bunch of cats surrounding Emma's household, which is driving mr. Simbi crazy

Emma slashed Matts face open. Matt needed stitches and will have scars now. Emma was also expelled from her school and her mom is VERY mad at Emma and the school. The Pride-Heart is working however...

Emma starts getting bullied at school by a boy named Matt, and all of his buddies. As Emma is getting bullied her hands hurt more and more until she looks down and realizes that literal claws have emerged from her hand

Emma is sleeping in today and her parents wake her up

Emma ended up failing to train the pride heart correctly and took a nap. The nap was over 12 hours long however. It is now Helena's birthday, and her parents are cooking a good meal.

Emma and Jack walk into the woods and Jack attempts to teach Emma how to used the magic of the pride heart. Emma fails and instead injures her hand.

Other cats come looking for the Pride-Heart, and end up at Emma's trailer. The group of cats is led by a cat named Cricket. Jack wards the cats off, and then promises to teach Emma how to use the magic.

Jack cons Emma into consuming the Pride-Heart. She describes in detail what it feels like to gain the power of the heart.

Emma receives the "Pride-Heart" from Jack. Jack explains that the Pride-Heart can help her unlock magical powers she didn't know she possessed. The downside of this is that the Pride-Heart making her magic means she will be a crag, which is frowned upon.

Emma is bullied at school for living with the crags, and has only made a single friend named Marie.

Today, in my book, Emma's mom finds out about Jack the magical cat. Emma's mom is less than fond of the idea of a magical creature living in their household, and even less fond of the idea of Emma being friends with it.

Emma's dad went into the woods that they were warned about with a small dwarf. The walk through the woods was fruitless however. Meanwhile, Emma was talking to Jack, the one eyed cat about magic, and how rarely, humans can acquire magic.

Emma finally talks to the cat that she found in her room. You heard that right, she can talk to the cat. In this world, cats can talk and even grow and transform. The cat claims that he actually owns the trailer.

Emma is talking to her neighbors, Mr. Simbi, who is half snake, and her other neighbor, who is a hag. When Emmas mom discovers that a hag lives next door, she freaks out.

Emma just had a close call with a creature called a hag. Hags like to eat human children. Emma was saved by her half-snake neighbor, Mr. Simbi. She also heard something crawling around in her room. Judging by the title of the book, this may become relevant,

In this story, we meet a girl named Emma. Emma seems to be a regular girl. In this version of the world, Humans live alongside other magical creatures called "Crags." The Crags normally don't like humans all that much due to their differences. Emma seems to be moving into a town full of crags. Her neighbor, a snake person named Mr. Simbi, seemed to warn them about one of their neighbors.
