Tho well written, and playing with philosophical themes a bit by having a nihilist, the second story "Der Richter und sein Henker" is more entertaining than interesting, if that makes sense. Still, as I am enjoying this as a german language audiobook, it's very much worth it. I can use the exposure. Due to focusing so much on english, my german is still on the vocabulary level of my 16 yr old self - just more rusty.

On my way home, from the first night out in a long while, not really craving for music, having had my fill of it the hours leading up to my drunkish gethomery, I felt something narrative, and something german language might be my cup of cake, so I opened up this audiobook I bought a long while ago, and since then I start to rejoice in the sad tales. Dürrenmatt got a knack for setting the scene, and plotting the plot!
