You know, this book really brings up a good point that is often lost when it comes to sexual assault. That is that you should try to mitigate risk because we don't live in an ideal world...but even if you don't, it's not your fault. BOTH things can be true. It's not victim blaming to make women aware of how to mitigate risk, it's just good safety logistics.

So many reviews talk about how unrealistic her response to the attempted rap was and I have to COMPLETELY disagree.
