yikes. the book seems hellbent on taking some of the things i liked least about asoiaf and making them worse. there's even a tyrion lannister-esque copycat who's just less charismatic and inferior in every way.

seriously. the only impetus i have to keep reading is to see if this is addressed. the "crime" of abortion is punished by killing the two men who helped the girl get said abortion (life is soooo sacred to this god you see :) so let's kill people who sin) and damning the teen girl to a lifetime of sexual slavery? are we for real here?
