Lots of anti-slavery names & works that were new to me are backbones of this book. There is more fact and less actual story, though many of the people are connected in the telling. I appreciate the author’s hard work and detail.
However, listening instead of reading I feel the need to remind Audiobook publishers that just because someone knows how to read, doesn’t mean they should be hired to do so out loud.
