6.15.2023 ... Just too crazy. Too damned hard to read and make any kind of sense. I'm giving up.

I've figured out that the author is trying to explain how a seemingly perfect world would be.

Slow going. Actually pondering about halting my reading. It's gotten into the protagonist trying to explain how life is in a capitalistic society versus the 'communist-oddball' culture he found himself in. They don't understand much of what he talks of and visa versa. Reminds me of the 'Catch-22' book and Connie Willis' 'Doomsday Book.'

Written in 1944 the author made some pretty good guesses on how things would be in a 'futuristic' society. The first pages were funny. Now, not so much.

Interesting but not a quick read.

I like it! Gulliver has just retired from his first day in Kazohinia. The technology is advanced but there are some odd things about this civilization. I love the little bit of satire so far. The writing is very easy to follow. The author uses the same style as Swift in Gulliver’s Travels, including a synopsis of the chapter at the beginning of each chapter.
