Status Updates From Wanted (Flick Carter #1)

The first third is about establishing the main characters and is slow. However, once that is accomplished, the pace picks up as we start to get into the meat of the story.

It is now much more promising with good pacing, some characters to care about and a succession of suspenseful events.

The start is a little languid for my taste. There is a conflict in the narrative background that is waiting to emerge. I hope that I'm not waiting too much longer to see it.

I like the easy to read writing style.
