I have wanted to learn about many things in my life but I have never in my life wanted to learn about cars. They’ve never interested me and I usually am obstinate about solving my own problems EXCEPT for car ones— I’m aware that I know absolutely nothing about them and become a neurotic PITA. Not knowing things bothers me though so I picked up this book and read it in TWO DAYS. It’s seriously that helpful.

Already off the bat, I’m so pumped to read this book. Chaya is from Milwaukee, WI! And gives a shout out to Mercury Stardust, the “Trans Handy Ma’am”. And immediately empowers the reader that educating myself about car maintenance and ownership is resisting against the sexist, bigoted, and racist auto industry. Sign me up!
