First read into books by Nelson DeMille. I’m reading the version of this with the white cover. So far so good. Revolves around a mysterious murder of two researchers that work on Plum Island, know for research into biohazardous diseases and virus, bacteria and other dangerous microorganisms. Detective John Corey is a slightly narcissistic individual. But he’s likable, in many ways.
