Only a handful of pages in and I'm pretty sure it won't be for me. I HATE books that start in the middle of the action, throwing a dozen names at you like you know who they are. If Sydney breaks the 4th wall to say, "let me explain," I'm leaving.

Bleh. Still not enjoying it. Don't like the heroine and can't figure out why the hero cares enough to upend his life for her or why he's so jovial after someone he supposedly loved dumped him harshly twice. I think it's supposed to be a cute Rom-Com but it's not working for me on that level at all.

Eh. Not really ringing my bell so far. Being dumped into this situation and not being able to see why Jack cares so much about Sydney is not exactly endearing her and her jerk behavior to me. It also makes Jack seem pathetic. *sigh* Hopefully I start liking it more soon.
