Status Updates From Convex Optimization

The hardest thing of reading this book is not reading the material itself, but to solve the exercises. Some important concepts are covered in the exercises. It's a good practice to strengthen the foundation tho. Still, this text is a bit hard for me to digest.

summary of chapter 1: convex optimization is the study of minimizing an objective function subject to some constraint functions, where all functions involved are complex. problems are easy to solve once they have been reduced to convex optimization problems; the tricky part is reducing them.
