Chapter 11: I thought Gordon MacRae's garrison was powerful, so how come it was defeated easily by a group that had just traveled the whole day? And I'm pretty sure they're terribly tired.

Chapter 7: Whaaaaat?? Since Jillian and Ian were in safe hands, Roderick saw no harm in telling Gordon where they had gone?? Mega obtuse reasoning!

Chapter 4: I find it super idiotic that the loyal sword-bearer was able to sneak out a mare without being detected. I'm pretty sure that the enemy's guard will keep an eagle eye on particularly him because he was the loyal sword-bearer. If there is someone going to do something, it'll be definitely him.

Chapter 3: I find it ridiculous that Gordon MacRae will let a stable lad, sword-bearer and nursemaid roam freely around the castle and grounds.

Is this really a Scottish historical romance? How come they don't speak like Scots? More research on Scottish words/terms is necessary.

Prologue: The nickname "Jilly" makes me cringed. I might not be able to stomach the whole story simply because of an unpretty monicker. I know it's a shallow reason but that's how I feel.
I don't think a heated argument was warranted between Kade and Jillian's father when it was revealed that Jillian was already betrothed to another. Sooo overreacting.
