Quite the hidden gem for me this book. I'm enjoying the style of writing and the story occasional switches between reality and Lilac's daydreams/historical romance fantasy.

Lilac may be 20 years old but it's like she stopped maturing at 14 years old. It's a bit off putting when Nick feels much much older. It feels morally wrong and creepy for them to be together.
