Status Updates From Gender Failure

Maybe my gender retirement is more of a “greatest hits”-style experience.

My second chance to stand shoulder to shoulder, right beside my beloved younger sibling, and offer my apologies that I was standing behind them the first time around.

I know Rosie is dead. She wasn’t for a while when she was first gone, but she is now, I can feel it. I still remember everything I learned from Rosie. She taught me how to take something some people might just throw out, and then sweat and work and love it back to being beautiful.
