David Karp’s essay made me want to throw the book away. His dismissal of psychiatrists and psychiatry altogether sound like a teen who’s mad his parents ask him about his day. And his random comment about a woman’s attractiveness or his attraction to her being the reason he decided to stay in a group among his other odd comments on women…no thanks

I did not like the last two samples that I read. In a way I don’t think they much applied to me. I couldn’t wander out of their voice to understand the whole message.
