I didn't particularly enjoy the biginning but the end left me satisfied (for the main character stayed true to herself and was therefore believable).

10 story. A Friend with Benefits

2 stars because 1) it's refreshing to read about characters older than in their 20s & 2) it's fascinating to me how someone can fit a whole story into so little pages.
What I didn't like: 1) it's written in a style of cringy romance book (which, do not be mistaken, I sometimes enjoy) but 2) that cringiness made it seem like cheating on your partner is good if it boosts your ego?

Also, I hope my grandma doesn't make such a joke (for the lack of a better word) at me.

These are getting better and better with every single page!
I've never been an extra in a film (would love to), but I've been a witch in a medieval fair, and this story brought me so many beautiful memories.
Also, the love story is sweet.

Entirely loved this short story. Characters are well rounded, the plot unexpected, the feeling of a full bickering and loving family admirable.

I found the ending too abrupt and too much of a change for a character.

I have exactly 14 days till I have to return this book to the library, and there are exactly 28 short stories in it. So... two stories a day keep the doctor away? Or something like that.
