This devotional book has been one of my favorites so far, mixing baseball (a game that I love) with God's Word (A Father that I love) has been an awesome mix.

This book is awesome, I love Baseball and God so when you combine the two, you get this incredible book which has been a great tool. I read two stories at a time to my son.

The continuing reading about Hall of Famers and Christ is such a blessing. My salvation wouldn't suffice without Christ!

Learning about history for the sport that I love and about how it relates to the God the I love has been remarkable. Baseball the sport is amazing but I do not indulge in watching it like once before, it is not quite a sport anymore.

Mixing Baseball and Bible has been such a blessing. To God be the Glory!!

Our purpose is for His Kingdom, we tend to think it is what we want, but we must remember we no longer live, but it is He who lives in us.

The stories in this book are great, I love baseball history and I love the Word of God! This book takes the most random players and compares them to stories or certain characters in the Bible.

This is not only discussing star players but also the umpires who call the games and enforce the rules of the game but how they compare to different characters throughout the Bible. This has been an awesome bedtime book while putting my son to bed.

Reading about players from the past who worked hard and hall of famers who had great stats in their lifetime. They talked about Tigers owner from when they won the world series in 1935 and died later on that year, comparing him to Simeon who wanted to see Jesus and when he finally did he passed on.

I love reading this to my son at night because it allows me to learn about baseball history but also uses baseball figures to allow my son to realize that these guys are human and similar to people in the Bible as well.

These two stories were about Ivan Rodriguez and Roberto Clemente two Hall of Famers. The Rodriguez story talked about how he went from a first place team to a last place team but at the end, seasons change but God remains the same. Clemente was doing work for Gods glory when he was killed in a plane crash.

This book is using baseball players and some of their attributes or accomplishments to talk about how God used certain characters in the Bible in similar situations. Using the ones who were highly underestimated to deliver big.

The baseball stories that they spoke about were when in 2007 the Rangers scored 30 runs in a game against Baltimore and how in the Bible it tells us when we give from a generous heart God will return things to us in abundance, don't be confused it doesn't mean to go and give to expect something in return, but give out of the generousness of your heart.

This book continues to use some of baseball greatest games or players such as Jimmie Foxx and the things he has done and compare things from the Bible. This story was indicating don't play with fire, if we know we have a problem with something don't think you can get away with just a little of it, we need to put those fires out and pray in all circumstances.

I have been reading these stories about former baseball players with my son, each day it is about another superstar but how they use baseball players and teach us about the Word of God!
