The end of the book makes me feel like that bit on chess earlier. How "a person who see's one more move ahead...". But, it is open ended. Much like Tristen seems to feel a bit dazed from all of his experiences. I also feel like my review won't nearly do this book justice, but I will try. After all--it is the lords will.

Life Extension. A very interesting concept. Especially, since this is the first time in human history that the average person has enjoyed a longer then average life. (In Europe and European Colonies.) Somehow, I feel that B.V. Larson has been inspired by L.E.. If someone ever finds that, please link the interview, so I can incorporate it into my review.

Normally, I would complain about the lack of AI is a book like this, but honestly the author has done so well with painting various pictures. Ex: Work Life, Family Life, Social Life, and a feel for interstellar war. If anything it showcases many examples of why AI would be useful, but just didn't need to be part of the story. Considering this was published in the 90s and is quite good for its time. Like a Mustang.
