Status Updates From Doctor Faustus and Other Plays

The theory that Marlowe wrote Shakespeare's corpus is ten times dumber now that I've read half his works. Incredible talent for blank verse, and the Marlowe type is a compelling character, but he was so clearly a limited artist. I get why Bloom's best-poems anthology only included a few Tamburlaine speeches from the plays, because there's nothing in Faustus or Jew of Malta that really develops from that bombast.
