Status Updates From A Flower to Remember

I mean, I’m not saying this is a bad book. It’s actually really good & I like how the natives are written in this. The stakes are high but what in the world? Why am I not done with this book already??

I have no idea why it’s taking me so long to read this book. I feel like I’m in some sort of twilight zone where I read 50 to 100 pages only to find there’s 200 more to read. The story is finally giving answers though.

While this book took its time to arrive in the forest, it quickly gathered spread with something in the forest that the synopsis didn’t mention.

Milo’s dad is horrible. Don’t get it.

Starting to question why the dusters control the town so much when their main goal is to act as a security against the forest.

There’s a lot of complexity in this family. I hope it is explored more.

So I’m guessing this book takes place in the early 1900’s when medicine was scarce & much of it was still was a mystery.

Wow, what a start with that bison. Reminds me of the boar in Princess Mononoke that was corrupted. Wasn’t sure how much action or violence would be in this, but I now have an idea!
