This may be a dramatic read, but really want to get off my 🍃 dependency. Feel like it’s affecting my life in bad ways. Hoping this book’ll have good advice.

Currently 66 days sober while writing this. Have been attending an IOP group for almost 19 weeks and went to an AA meeting and HATED IT. A counselor at IOP recommended recovery dharma and I went to a meeting and it was PHENOMENAL. Very much my vibe. Currently working in the first 33 inquiries of The first noble truth!

Loved this book when I first found it. Now however, I find myself enjoying this less the more I read.
The mapping of recovery principles to the eightfold path and 4 noble truths is somewhat forced in places. The book is structured in a way that presents topics before they are introduced.
