I think I actually hate this book.

Its well written, its got a good balance of action and adventure and good vs. evil, but I hate what they did to Vessy and I hate how graphic it is.

Still a masterful book, but I hate it.

Make no mistake, this series can be pretty graphic as a general rule.

However, occasionally I forget just *how* graphic it can be until I'm staring wide-eyed at Tovera on abject horror.

Hey! Look! I'm releasing a half-finished book from purgatory (aka "will get back to eventually" shelf!).

My insomnia called for lighter space opera fare than my original plan was, so back to the RCN we go.
