Well shit. THIS was the shit. The good shit. The shit I DO LIKE. I was excited for Xander's turn here. He had less qualms about being "who he is" (and "who he is" was a sauna in the bedsheets lemme tell ya). Not a lot of (consensual) sex here - which btw the fuck is this "questionable consent" shit I keep seeing in reviews??? - anyhoo, the few scenes are PLENTY to make up for (quality over quantity a l w a y s ).

Xander and Hope are a very hot couple I have to say. I enjoyed this read and I typically really enjoy dark romances, this book had some parts that really made me cringe though. I still enjoyed it and I especially loved when Hope got her revenge, that was intense!!! Overall 3-3.5 stars!!!
