Status Updates From A színtelen Tazaki Cukuru é...

I think this book has a very personal feeling to it. All the emotions are real and raw. The main character resonates with me what he feels I feel. It’s a great book so far, one of the few stories to make me take a real interest in it. But Murakami is Murakami and the random sex scenes have to be there.

I am seriously considering putting this down. There’s just been a big plot twist with a sexual angle that I really don’t think this author is up to tackling. It’s also still very slow and has almost none of the things I like about his other books. At least the plot is interesting.

I’m very slow going with this book, but the plot has picked up considerably.
