Been on the list for a while. Time to read it. As a seeming trilogy of German WWI/II books. One taking place during WWII (The Part about Archimbaldi), one taking place after WWII (Mother Night) and one taking place leading in Germany leading up to WWII (Berlin Alexanderplatz).

I think the English description is misleading; it’s not so much about Franz Biberkopf as it is about Weimar-era Berlin
