Status Updates From D3.js in Action, Third Edition

Basic and advanced features from D3.js library to make great visualization have been covered in this book. It covers the building blocks of leveraging D3.js namely SVG containers, the use of making up shapes in SVG containers including each element needed in forming them, and the rule of thumb of creating great visualization. I also love the interview part to get expert perspective in each chapter.

The main content is quite good; end-to-end worked examples with lots of explanation. It's a bit odd that they _also_ assume no familiarity with JavaScript and try to give a half-hearted tutorial along the way. It's not ideal for seasoned JS programmers _or_ newbies.
